The Real War on Drugs is a War on Nature
The War on Drugs has been a failed war. Cocaine, heroin and prescription drugs have taken over the planet creating an epidemic that was in part started by the very individuals who waged the war. The United States government under the jurisdiction of President Nixon started the DEA. They were supposed to have the intentions of eradicating drugs within a decade from the face of the planet. This obviously did not happen. In fact that it seems like they have done is to go after one particular in which they classify as a schedule 1 drug, cannabis.
Prohibiting Medicine While the Real Drugs Plague Our Society
The attempted eradication of marijuana is more than just a war on drugs it is a war on medicine. A medicine that could help a nation of people but would not benefit the pockets of the pharmaceutical industry or the politicians in which they could buy. The war on drugs has allowed for cocaine and heroin along with MDMA, also known as ecstasy, to plague our streets and poison the citizens of this great nation. These were the problems for many years until over the past two to three decades when the pharmaceutical industry and the medical community started exposing themselves for the tyrants they are. With the DEA and FDA able to shut down anybody who does not have a license or operate to standards set by the government not by the people individuals are left at the mercy of good faith in their doctor. These doctors have abused this faith by prescribing dangerous and harmful medications for years that have become the center of problems worldwide. Pain pill and nerve pill addiction has plagued not only the United States of America but virtually every country around the world. Giant pharmaceutical companies rake in billions of dollars a year. They rake this money in by benefiting off of your sickness. This is all part of the war on drugs. The FDA Support groups such as Purdue Pharma the makers of the deadly narcotic OxyContin. The FDA will not approve CBD, which is a miracle cure for many different diseases and has already saved dozens of children's lives. Furthermore CBD is not the answer. In fact, whole plant therapy is where the answer lies. The government knows this. The medical community knows this. The pharmaceutical industry knows this, and they will fight with every ounce of black blood and their dry, dark souls to keep it that way.
Racism Has Fueled and Continue to Fuel the War on Drugs and Those Who Profit From It
The war on drugs has also been racist since the beginning. The prohibition on cannabis was started by racist assumptions, and the result has had a very adverse effect on many minority communities thanks to draconian laws surrounding a plant. Despite the fact, the Caucasians, African Americans, and Latinos within the US consume marijuana at the same rate, the vast majority of those incarcerated or affected by the prohibition of cannabis and the war on drugs are African Americans and Latinos. In the cannabis community and culture love, respect and kindness towards all are practiced by many, and the result is the unity of many different cultures and nationalities. The prohibition of cannabis and the war on drugs divides people, it destroys lives, it profits the puppeteers of our political system, and it must be ended once and for all.
The People Must Unite and Make Changes to Our Current Ways
We as a people must rise above these tyrants, make our voices heard and end marijuana prohibition so that not only a nation but a world can begin to heal. The next time you hear the term war on drugs or marijuana prohibition have some facts in mind so that you can make an informed point. Unfortunately too many individuals today are silenced due to fear of persecution. Persecution such as losing jobs, respect in the community and other atrocities. This must end. That is not the idea of freedom nor is it the principal. Write your Senators, Congressmen, and all the other politicians. Let them know prohibition of marijuana must end now! Let them know how the prohibition and war on drugs has affected you or your loved ones. Remember to stay on point, factual and passionate about your concern for those who can benefit from the medicinal benefits of cannabis and the personal right for freedom surrounding cannabis. A single seed can truly tip the scale. You could be that seed.
